First of all, I am excited to share my Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Review (get it here)! I recently went to an event at the pop-up café by Laura Mercier called “Café Mercier” located in Venice Beach. It was such an ideal café for me since it felt like a trendy LA café that had a charming French touch.
The Laura Mercier pop-up event was for the launch of the new and improved tinted moisturizer. In contrast to the older tinted moisturizer, the new packaging has a nice sleek feel to it and shows the shade of the product.

PROS & CONS
Next, is the pros and cons for the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Review.
PROS:
- SPF 30 UVB/UVA
- Because it contains Antioxidant Vitamins C & E, it has added benefits
- Hydrating / Moisturizing
- Dewy & Natural Finish
- As a result of the added nut oils, it has a luminous glow
- Due to smooth application, it has a natural finish
- Non-greasy
- Because of the creamy texture, it blurs imperfections
- Weightless
CONS:
- As a result of very light coverage – not recommended if you have hyper pigmentation or acne
- Certainly not for individuals who have nut allergies – contains nut oil
- Because the shades are different from the previous formula, you cannot order the same shade as before.
- Due to its light coverage, it is not buildable
- Seems like it can get “tacky” if you have oily skin; too hydrating for oily skin
What I’m Wearing from Laura Mercier
First, for application, you can use a beauty sponge, but I prefer to use my fingers. Second, after applying about a “bean size” amount, I’ll pat my face with a beauty sponge to perfect the finish. Then, cover any pigmentation from previous acne with concealer. Finally, to set the tinted moisturizer, I used the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder using a powder brush
Product List:
- Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer in “Almond” in 4C1
- Translucent Loose Setting Powder – Glow
- Flawless Fusion Concealer – Full Coverage in 3W
- Matte Bronzing Powder Soleil Bronzer 2
- Laura Mercier Blush Colour Infusion in “Sangria”
In conclusion, I highly recommend this new product! Finally, thank you for reading my Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Review! What are your thoughts about the new formula? Let me know below!
